How to Properly Wash Your Car: A Step-by-Step Guide
Gather Your Supplies
Before you begin, make sure
you have all the necessary supplies ready:
- Car wash soap: Avoid using household cleaning agents like hand soap or dishwashing detergent, as they can strip off the protective wax.
- Two buckets: One for soapy water and the other for rinsing.

Rinse and Remove Loose Dust
Start by thoroughly

Begin washing your car

paint.
Rinse Thoroughly
After washing each section of
your car, rinse it thoroughly with water to remove any remaining soap and dirt.

Dry Your Car Properly

dry, as this can leave mineral watermarks from hard water. Instead, use a chamois
or soft towels to blot and dry your car. Avoid dragging the towel across the
paint to prevent scratches. If you want to speed up the drying process, use a
soft squeegee to remove excess water, ensuring the rubber is clean and
flexible.
